Combat® Roach Killers FAQs

How Do You Use Combat Roach Killing Gels and Baits?

Combat roach killing gels and baits are easy to use in your home. First, identify where in your home you are seeing the most roaches and place the gels and bait in darker areas behind different items in the area. Roaches tend to prefer darker areas and placing them there can allow for them to use the baits out of sight from predators. Be sure to place the baits and gels in areas where it can't be ingested by pets or children. Over the next week check the baits and gels to see if they need to be replaced and look for signs of a reduction in roaches.

How Do You Know If Combat Roach Killing Gels and Baits Are Working?

Most homeowners will start to see a reduction in adult cockroaches in about 7 days roaming your home. Another indicator is that the bait needs to be replaced in 7 to 14 days, meaning that the roaches are eating the bait. Be sure to replace the bait if it runs low during this period.

Why Do Roaches Come Out At Night?

Cockroaches primarily come out at night due to their instinctual need for sustinance for survival and evasion of predators. Since they are nocturnal, they are able to search for food and water while lowering the chances of encountering predators like lizards, other insects, and humans.

What's the Difference Between Combat and Combat Max?

Combat MAX has Fipronil while the Combat contains Hydramethylnon in their products. Fipronil is more effective and kills the nest faster, but both are great for helping to prevent and control roach infestations.
