Which Combat® Roach Killer Is Right For Me?

WHICH COMBAT® ROACH KILLER IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Roaches are the one type of pest you never want inside of your home. You may not even know you have any cockroaches in your home until you see one searching for food or a place to hide. Instead of shelling out the big bucks for an exterminator, you can take care of your roach infestation yourself using Combat® Baits and Gels. The easiest and most effective way to eliminate these critters is to base your plan of attack on the problem area and how many roaches you see.

Using Combat® Roach Killing Products

Roaches like to dwell in areas where it is warm and moist. Common areas in the home that are extremely habitable for roaches are under toilets and sinks, inside of cabinets and drawers, and behind or in appliances.

Combat® Bait Stations work best when placed in these areas. All it takes is for one roach to come in contact with a bait station, and the rest will be eliminated in a domino-effect. Bait stations should only be used in areas where pets and kids won’t disturb them.

Combat® Bait Strips are best suited for areas where placing a bait station isn’t practical, especially if you have kids or pets that frequent a certain area of your home. Combat® Bait Strips are very inconspicuous. You simply peel off the backing and stick them wherever you suspect there is a roach infestation, such as underneath cupboards, shelves, and on the backs of appliances. Combat® Bait Strips kill roaches at the source.

Combat® Gel Baits are designed to attract roaches in search of food and water. They are discreet, and mess-free. You squeeze the gel into the cracks and crevices, and hard-to-reach areas around your home where roaches commonly hide. Common problem areas include baseboards, near pipes, behind or under appliances, and beneath paneling.

Other ways you can keep cockroaches at bay include:

  • Empty all trash cans frequently. All trash cans should have lids on them when they are not in use.
  • Eliminate dripping and leaking water in the home.
  • Store all food in airtight containers.
  • Vacuum and sweep all floors, and wipe all surfaces regularly to remove crumbs, spills, and waste.
  • Thoroughly and regularly clean your baseboards, appliances, and the areas surrounding them.

Dealing with a roach infestation takes time and commitment. It also requires you to be a little more diligent in the upkeep of your home. By using the above tips in conjunction with Combat® roach-killing products, you can keep cockroaches out of your home.
